2011-2012 Seasonal Schedule

A typical Saturday has three draws (game times) played at 5pm, 7:10pm, and 9:20pm. Each Saturday your team play will play at one of those times and it will vary from week to week.  (So for example, the first week you might play the second draw, the 2nd week the 3rd draw, etc).  We’ll publish the schedule in advance so you can plan.

Those who play the first draw are required to help with setting up the ice and should plan on arriving by 4:10 pm. It’s not hard work and we get to play on time when everyone chips in. Similarly, the late draw is expected to help with tear down.  2nd and 3rd draw players should arrive AT LEAST 15 minutes prior to the start of the match – remember – you have to buy wristbands at the front desk each time you play, and sometimes the line can be long.

The league is run as a “ladder league” in THREE 5-week rotations. After 5 weeks, teams will move up and down the ladder depending on their win/loss record. ANY team (even those that start in the D division) can work their way up the ladder to win the club championship! So it’s important to play your matches, or reschedule if necessary. Please note: there is no make up night for the first rotation. The points system is explained on the Standings page.

If you would like to play more than once on a Saturday (sparing in for a team that’s short a player), contact scheduling@pittsburghcurlingclub.com.  A wristband is required for each draw you play.
