Registration for the 2013-2014 curling season is now open.

We will be keeping the same format as last season and fees remain the same. Please read on.

Last season, due to an explosion in youth hockey, Robert Morris University reduced the available ice time for curling. The same reductions will also apply for the upcoming 2013-2014 season. Because of this reduction we will be operating two draws per night, the Can-Am league and an additional late night Vampire league.

The Can-Am league will be split into two groups (A and B) and will play on alternating Saturdays at 9 pm, The Vampire League will play at 11:45 pm weekly with cleanup around 1:30 am. Using this structure, we can still have 40 curlers in each Can-Am League and 40 curlers in the Vampire League. As with years past, there are a couple of weeks where we don’t have ice, and a couple of weeks where our start time is pushed back slightly.

We know you’re all asking – what are we doing about this?

We have a site for a dedicated curling facility. Site plans have been submitted to the municipality. Funding is being negotiated. Follow the blog: Olympic Dreams Start Here.

While the current situation is far from ideal, we hope you’ll seriously consider sticking with us.

Due to the restricted ice time, the wristband fee will be included in the membership fee and, just like last season, there will be NO ADDITIONAL WRISTBAND FEE as a Can-Am or Vampire League member if you spare in another match!

League Fees can be paid with PayPal or by mailing the registration form with a check.
