TropiCurl 2010 Summer Bonspiel

Location: RMU Island Sports Center 7600 Grand Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15225
Date: July 1-4
Format: Open
Spiel size: 48 Teams
Ice: Specially prepared arena - 5 sheets.
Guarantee: 3 games
Rink fee: Same rate! $380 per rink

Registration info:Repeat customers are our priority followed by any teams wait listed last year.
After this we take all newcomers - so it's in your best interest to get your registration in early.

Shuttle service is provided - free!!! - early morning and late night as well as periodically throughout the day!

Food: As many of you know we don't have kitchen facilities. We do our best to provide tasty,filling lunches and dinners.
Additionally, if you book with our host hotel, the Holiday Inn, hot buffet breakfast is included.

The bar: Again as many of you know, we are required to use the RMU caterer. We do NOT set the prices,
and do NOT get any cut whatsoever from the bar. It's the only way we can have beverages on site
so we just have to live with it.
If you have any issues with the bar, please let them know! You're paying for it (so are we - yeah - it's insane).

Who's joining us for 2011? I don't know - but we filled in record time last year!
So keep checking the website (around January 2011 for registration).

The draw guys declared the 2010 draw to be the ULTIMATE draw.
I'm sure you all have opinions on that and I'm sure they'll make some adjustments for 2011.
So look for it around May or June 2011.

THE BOX - we'll be playing this fun game again on Friday -more details to come

THE SIGNPOST CONTEST - a favorite fun thing for the team to do - it'll be here again - details to come.
