Jan 7 Highmark Curling Demo

Jan 7
8A – 2P
Highmark Building, Downtown (details to follow)

Highmark is hosting Olympic Awareness events – and they’ve asked us to come and demo the Hottest Sport on Ice – CURLING!

This will be similar to Venture Outdoors using wheelie rocks on an indoor “sheet”. (The big improvement over Venture Outdoors is it’s guaranteed NOT to rain on us, and wind should be minimal – we’ll be INDOORS!)

If you’re able to work this into your schedule, we could really need your help. Highmark is an important member of the Pittsburgh Community – let’s take advantage of this opportunity!

Curling Demo at Highmark – Jan 7

Help us demonstrate curling to Highmark employees downtown Tuesday Jan 7, 8:30A – 2P. This will be a lot of fun, demonstrating curling using wheelie rocks, explaining the sport and talking about our club and future plans.

If you’re available to help – WE NEED YOU! Please contact Dan Bliss: dan.bliss@pittsburghcurlingclub.com if you’re interested.

Dec 28 Friends and Family

Saturday Dec 28
Friends and Family!!!

ALWAYS a popular event – This is curling ice for club members and their friends and families during the holidays!

Here’s how it works – make a reservation through Scheduling and let us know how many will come, they’ll sign waivers (of course) – then YOU’LL run the Learn to Curl.

It’s a great way to work off some of those holiday cookies and get out of listening to Uncle Dudley recount the Christmas Disaster of 1947 for the bazillionth time.

We get the ice at 9:00P – so please be here to help set up.

This is a paid event – $10 for each curler (even members since this is outside of League).

HO HO Hurreeeeee!!!!
