College Curling

3 Week College Into to Curling

Come out to a 3 week Learn to Curl March 19, 26 and April 2
$60 per person for all 3 weeks.
Open to all Undergrad and Graduate Students ( must show valid student ID)

Week 1 – Learn to Curl.
10 minutes of off-ice introduction and instruction; followed by approximately 45-60 minutes of on-ice instruction; an hour or so of instructed game play; Broomstacking, socializing after the game.

Week 2 – Recap week 1 and Discuss Strategy.
Recap Week 1; Talk about Strategies; Play A few ends of Short Curling; Then Play a 6 end game; Broomstacking, socializing after the game.

Week 3 – Final Game
Play A Full Game; Broomstacking, socializing after the game.

Must be a current College Student at one of the local colleges.

The Pittsburgh Curling Club is looking into creating a social college curling league.
In the future, we are also willing to help students in creating school teams to compete in the US Curling’s College Tour and Championship

Some colleges and universities provide financial assistance to school clubs, please reach out to us and we can discuss what we can do to help you get a club started at your school. 

Colleges and Universities that are able to participate, but are not limited to: University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon University, Duquesne University, Robert Morris University, Point park, Chatham University, Carlow, La Roche University, Washington & Jefferson College, Geneva College, Penn State Beaver, Penn State Greater Allegheny and Penn State New Kensington.
